From the WWF ring to scuba reefs to the pizza oven. The many lives of Jimmy, who refereed part-time for the WWF, Georgia Championship Wrestling, IWA, NWA, and Rampage while running the local cable TV system for 40 years.

From the WWF Ring to the Pizza Oven

Before Jimmy was pulling pies out of the oven, he wore the stripes. On the side, he spent years as a professional wrestling referee, the man in the middle who kept the match honest while the crowd roared. He worked rings for the WWF, Georgia Championship Wrestling, IWA, NWA, and Rampage, showing up night after night to give everyone a fair shake. His day job told the same story of grit. For 40 years, Jimmy owned and ran the local cable TV system, keeping the community connected long before streaming was a thing. He has also been a scuba instructor, a licensed boat captain, and an airplane pilot, the kind of guy who never met a skill he didn't want to master himself. That same self reliance and craftsmanship walked straight into the kitchen at Square Deal Pizza. These days the spotlight is a pizza oven in the small college town of Fort Valley, Georgia, but the philosophy hasn't changed: give people a square deal, every single time.
